Barcelona, 5^th March 2020

Regarding the sector’s concerns about the current international situation, and in order to guarantee a great edition risen to its history, Alimentaria Exhibitions, a Fira de Barcelona company, has decided together and unanimously with its Organising Commitee to postpone until September the joint celebration of Alimentaria and Hostelco, initially scheduled for 20^th-23^rd April.

The next edition of both shows will take place from 14^th to 17^th September 2020 with the aim of being able to hold a major trade show for all participants with the highest expectations in terms of sales, networking and international attendance and in order to ensure the maximum commercial attractiveness of the event.

As a result, Alimentaria and Hostelco preparation continues to run smoothly from all points of view –commercial, activities planning, presentation of new products and exhibitors and visitors’ participation forecast, aiming to occupy practically the entire Gran Via venue for yet another edition.

Alimentaria and Hostelco shape together one of the largest international platforms for the food and drinks, gastronomy, foodservice and hospitality industries, with more than 4,500 exhibiting companies, 1,000 of them from 70 countries, and nearly 150,000 visitors, 30% of them international, from 156 countries.
